IKEA DIY Workshop
Working with hundreds of women survivors of gendered and/or domestic violence, one of the issues many have spoken about is rebuilding their lives and establishing a level of independence including in the field of DIY. We Are We have partnered with IKEA Croydon to provide tailored workshops to support these women as they embark on a new journey, find new homes to live, redecorate and build their confidence again. End Period Poverty
We Are We provide sanitary products to London Homeless shelters in the effort to ensure every vulnerable woman can have her period with dignity. We aim to donate 20,000 sanitary products by the end of 2020. We are demanding an end to period poverty and the stigma associated with menstruation.  We are working with charities, advocates and policy makers throughout the world to make sanitary products free for women in the UK once and for all.

Commitment
National Period Day
October 10th, 2020 will mark the very first National Period Day in the UK. Our global allies around the world will also have this as a day in their respective countries. On this day we will stand together, bring awareness around period poverty, menstrual hygiene and the stigma associated with this natural bodily function. Watch out for more information on this day to come.

Therapy Sessions
We Are We have partnered with local counsellors and therapists throughout London boroughs to provide women with therapy sessions as a tool for overcoming anxiety, depression and addiction. Our therapy sessions have helped women develop and foster passion, productivity, and balance in their lives. We believe mental health is key to the progression towards a fulfilling and healthy life and believe every woman has a right to good mental stability.

Menstrual Equity

In 2019, 14 million people in the UK were recorded to be living in relative poverty. Many were unable to afford sanitary products for women in the household. Help us push our petition to get this on the agenda for governments to make sanitary products free for ALL women in need in the UK

Periods With Dignity

There are thousands of homeless women in the UK who can't afford to access sanitary products and have to use dirty rags, socks, tissue or anything they can during their cycle. Vulnerable, refugee women and domestic abuse victims are deprived of the income they need to access sanitary products.

Help Us Hit Target

We are fighting to eradicate period poverty in the UK and need your help in donations to provide these products to women in need while we work with policy to get these items free for all once and for all! Please donate today! Also sign our petition to support the cause of legislative change

Yes! Please opt into the monthly donations option, we depend on your consistent donations to help vulnerable women in the UK. Every little helps.

We support vulnerable females from the ages of 16 and above. Due to limited resources, we are unable to help individuals outside of our target audience. However, we are part of a wide network of charities and organisations that support females outside of our target group. Any questions on how to connect with our partners please reach out.

We are able to connect with women through varying channels including our workshops which are public and private depending on the audience and topic. We also work with other female focused charities, local councils, organisations and advocates. If you are a woman in need or would like to refer someone, please contact us.
